At a time of the year when the same old festive music is trotted out relentlessly, how refreshing it was to attend a concert with Broadway as its inspiration.
Born out of the discontinued BA in Applied Music course at Strathclyde University, the GSO includes graduates of the BAAM degree as well as students of other institutions.
This whirlwind tour of well-known musicals from stage and screen included Calamity Jane, Jesus Christ Superstar and Wicked, all led with aplomb by Musical Director Iain Massey. Continue reading
